Advisory board
An Advisory board is a group of individuals who serve as advisers to the management of a business, but typically do not have authority to vote on corporate matters, nor a legal fiduciary responsibility.
Overview
Unlike members of a Board of directors, individuals who serve on an advisory board do not have any official authority. They simply offer advice that the owner or management can take or not.
Typically a fee or some other type of incentive like stock options are provided to the advisers in exchange for their
